Branson Historic Downtown Streetscape Improvements Phase IV

Client: Great River Engineering

Project Location: Branson, MO

Services Provided: Cost Estimating

Phase IV of the Historic Downtown Streetscape Project in Branson, Missouri, focuses on revitalizing the area between Sycamore Street and Veterans Boulevard along Main Street. This phase includes replacing and widening sidewalks, upgrading underground utilities, installing decorative street lighting, and adding landscaping elements. A new restroom building will be constructed, and measures to ensure safe traffic flow will be implemented.

Additionally, improvements at the intersection of Main Street and Veterans Boulevard include new traffic signals, intersection redesign, pedestrian safety features, and utility upgrades. Accessibility enhancements will ensure compliance with ADA standards, and new wayfinding and signage will improve navigation. These efforts aim to make the downtown area more vibrant, accessible, and welcoming while preserving its historic charm.

SVS has played a critical role in this streetscape improvement by providing detailed and accurate cost-estimate services throughout the project’s lifecycle to date. SVS delivered detailed cost estimates at multiple stages of design and documentation, including the 50% and the 100% Construction Documents phases. These carefully prepared estimates were designed to align with the project’s objectives, supporting well-informed decisions and efficient budgeting, which in turn laid a strong financial groundwork for the project’s successful execution and development.
